My Journey

Education and Early Career: I graduated from Cavite State University, Main Campus in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, majoring in Marketing Management. My career began shortly after graduation, as I took on the role of Store Officer-in-Charge at Glenford Computer World. My responsibilities included managing purchase orders, accounts liabilities, cash flows, and expenditures, as well as preparing monthly and annual financial reports. This experience honed my managerial skills and financial acumen.

Transition to Business Freelancing: In 2015, I took a bold step and ventured into managing our family business, Design & Printing Services. Starting a business is never easy, and we faced many challenges. My siblings and I, with our extensive experience in the computer industry, decided to focus on a printing business. Our familiarity with durable and economical brands for printers, monitors, and computer parts was invaluable in setting up our venture.

Initially, we focused on printing and photocopying documents. The business gradually expanded as we identified more opportunities. For instance, my first typing job for a school project led to more similar requests, and creating an ID photo for an elderly woman sparked a demand for photo packages among senior citizens. These experiences allowed us to diversify our services.

Personal and Online Tutoring: Parallel to managing the family business, I worked as a personal and online teacher since March 2016. This role involved tutoring students and helping them achieve their academic goals. It also provided me with additional experience in managing educational content and understanding the needs of learners.

Virtual Assistance and Freelancing: Since August 2022, I have been freelancing as a virtual assistant. Over the past two years, I have taken on a variety of tasks, including:

• Data Entry and Research

This shift to virtual assistance was possible due to the availability of internet access in our town. It has allowed me to utilize my skills in a remote setting, further enhancing my expertise and contributing to the success of various businesses.
